Support. Represent. Diversify. Promote.

Our Goals

Support and empower a community of independently owned veterinary dermatology practice owners, associates, and residents.

Represent independent practices with the college and contribute to decisions that shape the future of our specialty.

Diversify and sustain independent practices by offering equal opportunities for residents and recently boarded dermatologists to be trained and employed.

Promote patient-first clinical practice, research and work-place culture.

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen and support independently owned veterinary dermatology practices through collaboration, shared resources, and collective advocacy.

We aim to promote patient-first clinical care, advance research and education, expand opportunities for residents and early-career dermatologists in independent practice settings, and ensure that independently owned practices have a strong voice in shaping the future of our specialty.

As a community, we seek to preserve diversity and autonomy in veterinary dermatology.
